But what should the 3rd stat be? Discipline, strength, intellect? Discipline was a consideration but I usually run double bombers and with a low dodge CD, gaining grenade energy is really fast. Intellect helps with super but my neutral game is my strongest aspect, not so much the super. This leaves me with strength but I was never really a fan of hunter's melee abilities smoke bomb etc what do you guys think should be the 3rd stat i should aim for?

Solar and void melee's are useless imo, for arc you can have infinite melee anyway so it doesn't even matter, grenades are also not a priority on hunters, most of their grenades are outclassed by warlock's and titan grenades because of the ammount of exotics and supers that synergise with them, imo you should just go for intellect, bottom tree golden gun, top tree void and mid tree arcstrider this one is for pvp since it counters a lot of supers are very useful in any pve scenario.
I personally try to max out Mobility, Recovery, and Intellect. Strength is something you can pretty much ignore. Is resilience worth it in Crucible? Does light level matter in PvP? Which is better recovery or resilience? How much resilience do hunters get? Does resilience help in Crucible? What is the best hunter build in wow?
What stats do I want for Hunter? In other words, it doesn't matter if you have maximum armor or not, the amount of health you have will stay the same, but the amount of shots you can take before your shield breaks will vary based on Armor rating.
Mobility makes you jump higher and it does do something with sprint speed especially noticeable when using warlock or titan after playing on a hunter.
Attunement of Sky is arguably the strongest PvP spec in Destiny 2, allowing Warlocks to take to the sky with ease. With their perfect in-air accuracy, Warlocks can reign death from on high with their Celestial Fire melee ability or accurate weapons, making the enemy team uncertain of which angles are safe.
Voidwalker Warlock. Striker Titan. Sunbreaker Titan. Revenant Hunter. Behemoth Titan. Stormcaller Warlock. Arcstrider Hunter. If you are mostly a solo player on the fence about which class to play, give the Hunter a try. They have almost everything you need to solo Destiny 2's hardest content. I think the only difference ive seen it in is with Thorns DOT. It takes one less shot from thorn to kill you at 5 and below than it does if you're 6. Anything above 6 resilience is an absolute waste in PvP unless you're a Titan trying to lower your cool down for barricade.
So for the most part, if you're not running 6, your resilience stat is irrelevant and you might as well boost the others. The difference between 2 resilience and 4 is negligible in pvp. Sorry I kinda jumped around with this explanation but yeah resilience is kinda busted for the most part. Resilience means very little to high damage per shot weapons like hand cannons, bows, and specials. Coincidentally, Resilience has much more of an effect against low damage per shot weapons like Auto Rifles.
Just remember that avoiding damage is always going to be a better Survival strategy than trying to tank it. G0lden Hunt3r.
